We are currently seeking a full time Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer this excellent opportunity in Snoqualmie, Washington. The ideal candidate will be a skilled technical hands-on manufacturing engineer that enjoys technology and has a proactive attitude to identify and solve problems via hands-on interaction with manufacturing and test. This candidate should have strong abilities to work well in a highly motivated team environment. Our work environment is fast-paced and requires team members to have technical aptitude and be detail-oriented, to learn quickly and have organizational skills, but most importantly to have a positive attitude and enjoy their job and their peers.


The Manufacturing Engineer will own the mechanical design of new and existing products from concept through the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for design, development, testing, technical documentation, and launch of new products as well as supporting production products.


**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Participate in requirements evaluation, design reviews, and process development in accordance with formal stage-gate process.


+ Perform and review tolerance analysis, structural and thermal FEA analysis, and FMEA analysis.


+ Hands-on interaction with production and test personnel to improve the assembly and test processes.


+ Identify and resolve issues related to design, assembly, and test to improve quality, MTBF, and reduce cost in a highly technical Lean production environment.


+ Lead manufacturing engineering activities and participate in new product design and development.


+ Lead continuous improvement activities which identify and resolve manufacturing issues that will improve yields, reduce waste, and enhance quality and safety.


+ Update manufacturing document control including mechanical drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.


+ Design and implement appropriate tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support assembly and test.


+ Research and specify new materials, assembly methods, test procedures, and equipment.


+ Perform other related duties as assigned.


**QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar is strongly preferred.


+ 3-5+ years experience in new product development related to electronic packaging, automotive, aerospace, defense, or energy industries.


+ Enjoys technology and has a proactive attitude to identify and solve problems via hands-on interaction with manufacturing and test.


+ Skilled in project management with the ability to multi-task.


+ Ability to design and build production tooling, fixtures, and gauges.


+ Skilled in using 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks.


+ Skilled in using MSOffice suite and Project Management software.


+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.


+ Skilled communicator with the ability to work well in a highly motivated team environment.


+ Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.


+ Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and Windows Operating System


+ Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities


+ US citizenship required to comply with U.S. DOD citizenship and ITAR flow-down requirements.
