We have the following position that needs to be filled asap.

**Industrial Manufacturing Engineer**

**Cornelia, GA**

**Long Term**


1. Manages and execute projects and/ or program of high level complexity ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, company standard, operation requirements and business needs. Works independently and coordinates and leads initiatives with other departments within the company and with other divisions outside the site.

2. Responsible for developing a strategy and executing a plan to deliver process performance improvements related to Quality, Delivery, and Cost of a manufacturing line or business unit within a plant, utilizing systematic approach for project execution. Prepare management reports and presentations.

3. Develops strategy and execution plan to improve flow of products from suppliers to distribution centers for a value stream.

4. Leverages process knowledge to identify opportunities/ solutions to improve throughput capacity by reducing impact of constraints and identify innovative ways to generate process efficiency. Is recognized as the source of guidance in a filed.

5. Is responsible for driving associates engagement and for developing Lean, Six Sigma capabilities through coaching and mentoring at various levels (associate to professionals) within the site and support other continuous improvements methodologies.

6. Lead activities related to business plan process requirements, such as headcount and capacity analysis, standard cost revision, investment plans and other budget related tasks.

7. Facilities PEx trainings, certifications, business case definitions; as required.

8. Can manage/own several plant wide initiatives.

9. Follows and observes all regulatory requirements (GMPs, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility.

10. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

11. For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

12. Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

13. Performs other duties assigned as needed

**Required Skills**

1. Lean or Six Sigma certification as Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred.

2. Experience should include Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, Project management and strong cross-functional business experience.

3. Demonstrates expertise to troubleshoot manufacturing line operations, including issues such as yield losses and value stream constraints to improve efficiency of production runs. Demonstrated ability to lead plant levels improvement initiatives and cost reduction projects.

4. Strong organizational, interpersonal oral and written communication skills.

5. Understanding of financial process (standard cost development) and business planning is preferred.

6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple commitments and shift priorities according to changes in business needs.

7. Maintains engagement with personnel at all levels of the organization.

Bachelors Degree (does have to been Engineering)

- 6-8 years of experience

- REQUIRED - has to have Capacity exp (with installed equ or people)

- must have Process Flow exp

- must have intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (equations, formulas, etc)

- experience with RMC (raw material code) would be highly recommended
