**Title:** Manufacturing Engineer



**Duration:** 12+ month, temp-hire opportunity!

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**




+ Develops implements and maintains methods operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts components sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

+ Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.

+ Estimates manufacturing cost determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.

+ Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

+ Assess & Create and Revise Macro Maps, Detailed Process Maps, & PFMEAs for selected products, as applicable

+ Investigate the supply chain for selected products

+ Contact vendors, internal production stakeholders, or supplier quality, as applicable for products under review

+ Create summary slides to communicate progress of remediation activities related to manufacturing documentation

+ Create pre-assessment slides to communicate manufacturing gaps associated with select products

+ Collaborate with team members to provide inputs for continuously improving remediation techniques and processes

+ Review, comment, and approve cross functional documents for design requirements, and risk analysis as applicable for assigned product groups

+ Explore and document findings for production data stored from SAP and PLM system

+ Support subject matter experts in completing the remediation process for biological safety assessments, microbiology adoptions, cleaning validation adoptions, and packaging adoptions





**Qualifications:**




+ Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

+ Will provide basic guidance to new team members.

+ Ability to explain in-depth information to others in straightforward/non-contentious situations.





**Education / Experience:**




+ Bachelors degree

+ Minimum Required Experience: 4 - 6 years
