Description Overview of Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities:
? Effectively develop and implement continuous improvement projects
? Design and develop manufacturing processes effectively for enhancements, product changes, new products, and related fixturing/tooling that are consistent with low defect levels and low product costs.
? Perform cost feasibility and ROI studies effectively for evaluation and participate in the design/development of automated work cells
? Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput
? Participate and or lead cross functional teams
? Resolve or address customer concerns, supply chain issues, and corrective actions effectively and efficiently
? Effectively manage projects so they remain within budget, on time, and meets all the quality requirements of the project
? Effectively maintain and communicate project statuses, progress toward key milestones and critical path deliverables
? Collaborating with development group regarding product tooling, secondary manufacturing methods, and process to ensure effectual production methods.
? Establish and document standards for labor and materials to assure BOM ( Bill Of Material) accuracy
? Efficiently and effectively resolve supply chain issues and corrective actions

Project Management Responsibilities:
? Notify and/or work with customer on repairs, refurbishments, and/or tool replacements
? Obtain customer approval of established processes prior to first production run
? Support Sales staff during customer meetings by defining and clarifying technical aspects of project
? Coordinate the collection and dissemination of technical information between/within Client and customer.
? Work directly with customers to explain or resolve technical related questions or issues
? Work with customers to support the revisions of their product
? Work as an integral member of the project team to develop and bring new products to production status
? Interact with the quality department engineers to integrate quality assurance procedures / processes to support the manufacturing process.
? Review and approve all major manufacturing processes used on a project.
? Monitor current production tools and manage tool repairs back to its original tool condition.
? Manage tool revisions based on customer print revisions or changes
? Assist estimating staff during the re-quoting process on legacy parts

Production Support Responsibilities:
? Train production personnel on manufacturing processes via the communication of written work instructions, demonstration of operation, observing the operation and follow up as required
? Verify production process capability via IQ/OQ/PQ process validation techniques
? Developing and implement SPC techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments
? Establish and document manufacturing work instructions in accordance with ISO, GMP and FDA practice

Preferred Qualifications:

? Minimum requirement is BS in engineering or equivalent
? 3 – 7 plus years of experience in precision manufacturing
? General knowledge in precision manufacturing
Other Qualifications and Desired Skills:
? Comprehensive knowledge of injection molding, precision machining, and other related secondary operations
? Fundamental knowledge of mold construction and design
? Understanding of post molding processes such as ultrasonic welding, plastic bonding, pad printing and assembly.
? Knowledge of general manufacturing practices
? Strong problem solving and troubling shooting abilities
? Good communication and human relation skills
? Knowledge of SPC
? Comprehensive knowledge of blue print reading and GD and T
? Project management skills
