Description Kelly Services is seeking experienced **Manufacturing Machine Operators and Machine Maintenance Techs** for our industrial manufacturing client in Northeast Austin, TX. These are full time, 1+ year temporary positions with benefits available in the first 30 days. **Shifts do rotate paying $17.25/hr. for days and $18.25/hr. for nights.**

**_Note: 12 hour shifts working on an alternating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week. Day shift 6:00 am-6:00 pm, night shift 6:00 pm-6:00 am. Shift will rotate every 3 months between day and night._**

**Job Duties**

• Develop a functional proficiency for site equipment, which includes chemical, slurry, and gas delivery systems

• Perform container changes (bottles, drums, totes, bulk tankers)

• Perform alarm response for delivery equipment

• Perform non-invasive preventative maintenance using documented procedures

• Update electronic equipment logs

On the job training will allow the technician to develop fundamental knowledge to assist with technical support, which includes equipment troubleshooting and system adjustments.

Such troubleshooting/adjustments include:

• Regulator adjustments

• Concentration/Conductivity/Particle excursion response

• Pump rebuilds

• Transducer adjustments


Prior manufacturing, machine operation and/or machine maintenance experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical and/or electronics experience preferred.

Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts.

Willing to perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder and drum movements. Lifting and carrying of up to 50lbs.

Able to wear a respirator and safety equipment as required.

High school diploma or GED.
