This is a 12-month temporary position at 40 hours per week. NIGHT SHIFT

**Job Description:**

The Quality Engineer provides oversight and guidance in manufacturing operations, ensuring continuous facility and GMP compliance. The Quality Engineer will coach manufacturing personnel on proper GMP and SOP compliance and empower them to identify and escalate quality issues, to ensure quality product.

1. Conduct evaluations and audits of production personnel to ensure procedures are being followed in accordance with GMP compliance.

2. Train production employees and implement process improvements with a focus on quality processes.

3. Provide input and decision making for quality on the shop floor with regard to manufacturing and deviations. Provide corrective actions as necessary.


+ BA/BS required, preferably in the sciences Biology/Chemistry/Microbiology/Pharmacy.

+ Prefer 0-2 years previous pharma experience.

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation and initiative required.

+ Experience in a clean room environment desirable.

+ Strong oral/written communications skills and leadership skills required.

+ Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility.

+ Capable of rapidly absorbing technical data and ability to apply this knowledge to a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

+ Available to work off-shifts and/or weekends.

+ Selected candidate will initially train on day shift but then move to nights 1800-0600, every Sunday-Tuesday and every other Saturday.

+ A Bachelors degree is required, science or engineering preferred.
