Job Description:
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, planning, coordinating, and supervising downstream production activities. You not only oversee the downstream manufacturing staff but are very hands-on in the purification operations as well. This is a full-time, direct-hire role located in Tustin, CA with a schedule of Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday 10 hours a day.
Essential Duties:
+ Perform purification operations, such as column chromatography, nanofiltration, tangential flow filtration, and aseptic bulk fills.
+ Keep up-to-date and accurate cGMP documentation, regularly reviewing the batch production records (BPRs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and batch history records (BHRs). To ensure cGMP compliance.
+ Follow through on any needed corrective actions.
+ Ensure that all manufacturing operations comply with both internal and external regulations.
+ Working closely with supporting departments, you coordinate manufacturing, validation, and maintenance activities.
+ Oversee the setup of new manufacturing processes and critical equipment.
+ Strategically, you identify the technical, procedural, and equipment issues that hinder production and compliance.
+ Assist with any investigations, inspections, and audits. Proactively, you report any issues to the appropriate leadership.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science field such as biology, biotechnology, or chemical engineering
+ 3 years of cGMP experience
