**Direct hire opportunity in Lafayette, CO for an experienced** **PROCUREMENT MANAGER.**

**Manufacturing experience is also required.**

**Salary ranging up to $115,000k**


**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. You will provide leadership for the Procurement and Material Control departments to provide tools to help define, develop, and improve the supply base

2. You will be responsible for thoughtful adherence to all company procedures, and compliance regulations (internal and external)

3. Maintain a fully functional supply chain management/material control infrastructure.

4. Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team training.

5. Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as training, time sheet completion, performance evaluations, salary reviews, succession planning, etc

6. Supports proposal development with real-time material data, including costs and lead times

7. Establish priorities to maintain support, provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the Supply Chain team to support program milestones and delivery requirements, as well as coordinate with executive management, program management, engineering, and other department managers to ensure the company's material, planning and production objectives are supported

8. Drive innovation by maximizing capabilities of current procurement management systems and seek out new advancements in technology and process

9. Create and implement formal supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed and optimize warehouse functions, including Inventory Control

10. Develop and maintain supply chain KPIs (key performance indicators) to be measured and communicated across the organization to drive visibility on goals, as well as provide leadership to direct reports, including responsibility for your department's performance, and leading negotiation efforts for major internal projects.


**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Performs, as directed, safety compliance and uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as needed, and maintains a safe working environment.

2. Adheres to all company policies and procedures on a routine basis. Consistently reports to work as scheduled and on time, avoiding unnecessary and unscheduled absences.

3. Responds promptly, sincerely, and respectfully to customers and coworkers needs, requests and concerns via all communication forms using easily understood language.

4. Maintains positive working relationships as a team player through problem solving issues, speaking positively about others, and listening attentively.

5. Identifies, evaluates, recommends and/or implements process improvement opportunities that include the objective(s) of reducing costs, increasing efficiencies and/or increasing productivity. Eliminates and avoids unnecessary processes and procedures that impede these objectives on a company-wide basis.


**EDUCATION**

Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Purchasing, or related field, is preferred


**WORK EXPERIENCE**

3-5 years experience in manufacturing in a leadership role, is required. Technical experience and/or understanding, is required.

2+ years experience in supply chain management, is preferred.
