The Manufacturing Operations Technician, under the direction of the Plant Manager, has the responsibility for assisting the Operations department with routine and corrective cleaning of cleanroom equipment while manufacturing drug product using approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to these activities. Gowning and Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) are required to perform these job functions under aseptic conditions in a controlled-environment manufacturing facility. Additional responsibilities include general facilities and maintenance duties, warehousing, inventory management, and contractor management. This is a full-time position

Primary Job Functions and Responsibilities:

+ Perform work and manufacture product per current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

+ Ability to don gowning in an aseptic manner and maintain qualification throughout employment.

+ Ability to read and perform Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

+ Assist with the operation and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment and executing production processes in a controlled environment.

+ Perform preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and facilities.

+ Perform data review and verification on production documentation.

+ Maintain cleanliness of cleanroom equipment and associated areas.

+ Assist with obtaining, tracking, and stocking supplies related to cleaning the manufacturing area and product manufacture.

+ Assist Operations and QA in the receipt, approval and release of materials.

+ Assist with the coordination of contractors for the facility.

+ Assist the Quality and Research and Development teams, as needed.


+ Ability to work independently, evaluate priorities and meet deadlines in a team environment.

+ Previous work experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing facility preferred.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required. College or vocational graduates preferred.
