Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Irving, TX. This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a KellyOCG employee you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. **_PLEASE NOTE: The work schedule will be 6 am to 6 pm Saturday & Sunday, and 1 pm to 9 pm on Monday & Tuesday. Off rest of the days._**


Responsible for applying non-standard technical methods in such areas as manufacturing, maintenance, quality, testing, engineering and production to achieve desired outcome.

Under limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate procedures and guidelines, this position:

+ Troubleshoots electrical, test, mechanical, facilities or hydraulic systems, components and equipment.

+ Applies nonstandard test techniques where normal procedures are not fulfill testing needs.

+ Checks tools and test equipment for proper calibration and repair according to standard operating procedures.

+ Works together with outside contractors giving service to manufacturing equipment.

+ Ensures adherence to quality system regulations.

+ Gives support to process engineers in the development of projects.

+ Constructs, inspects, adjusts, tests, documents and maintains equipment, components, devices and systems.

+ Writes and/or reviews technical reports.

+ Develops charts, graphs, schematics, and drawings to describe and illustrate machine, test or component characteristics.

+ Makes recommendations to management on improving quality, efficiency, cost control, processes or productivity techniques.

+ Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

+ Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity DI , Good Manufacturing Practices GMP, and Good Documentation Practices GDPs.

+ Performs other duties assigned as needed


+ Technical Associates Degree or equivalent is required.

+ Requires minimum of 6 years of related experience.

+ Competent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.

+ Technical writing skills preferred.

+ Exposure to IQ/OQ/PQ preferred.

+ Experience troubleshooting packaging equipment is required.

+ Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks required.

+ Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field preferred.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures.

+ CMMS software/Maximo experience is preferred.

+ PLC troubleshooting experience is required.

+ PLC programming using RS Logicx 500 and 5000 experiences is preferred.

+ Experience with HMI graphic package like Wonderware is preferred.

+ Panel Builder software experience preferred.

+ Electrical-Mechanical troubleshooting and repair required.

+ Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base.

+ Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and the public.
