**Job Description**


We are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to provide administrative support to a marketing department. Our client is an international leader in turbine technology, with offices in Glastonbury, CT. This position would be long term temporary, with a potential for growth into a full time opportunity down the road.


Responsibilities are primarily administrative, and include:

- Coordination of sales support and marketing programs including tradeshows, conferences, special events, and other projects

- Create customer communications using programs such as CVENT

- Uploading marketing material to online libraries, internet groups and social media sites

- Support with editing, proofreading, and fact-checking marketing material including the company website, advertisements, tradeshow displays, literature, and other material

- Support the production of marketing materials and presentations

- Maintain inventories and ship marketing collateral literature and promotional items

- Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases

- Support invoice management and payment process


**Requirements**


We are looking for someone with high energy, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment. Other desired skills include:

- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work proactively and effectively across a multi-discipline environment

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written

- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop would be a plus

- Excellent time management and organizational skills and extreme attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain schedules and deadlines.

- Adaptable to changing priorities, personalities and able to handle multiple assignments concurrently

- Marketing Degree
