Our client, an experienced health insurance company in the state, is currently seeking a Marketing Analytics Consultant for a contract to hire position. The position is located in Chicago, IL. There is a temporary remote work option for candidates while Covid 19 restrictions are in place but once restrictions are lifted this is onsite.

The hours for this position are as follows:

Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm for 40 hours a week

Pay Rate is between $27.89 per hour W2, conversion salary midpoint $87K


Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Analytical Thinking: Approaches a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach; makes a systematic comparison of tow or more alternatives; notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information; identifies a set of features, parameters or considerations to take into account, in analyzing a situation or making a decision; approaches a complex task or problem by breaking it down into its component parts and considering each part in detail; weighs the costs, benefits, risks and chances for success, in making a decision identifies many possible causes for a problem; carefully weighs the priority of things to be done.

Communication for Results: Writes and speaks effectively, using conventions proper to the situation; states own opinions clearly and concisely; demonstrates openness and honesty; listens well during meetings and feedback sessions; explains reasoning behind own opinions; asks others for their opinions and feedback; asks questions to ensure understanding; exercises a professional approach with others using all appropriate tools of communication; uses consideration and tact when offering opinions.

Conceptual Thinking: Sees crucial differences between current situation and things that have happened before; quickly identifies the central or underlying issues in a complex situation.

Information Seeking: Recognizes and interprets the information problem; establishes a plan of search; conducts the search; evaluates the results, and if necessary, iterates through the process again.

Initiative: Identifies what needs to be done and takes action before being ask or required to; does more than what is normally required in a situation ; seeks out others involved in a situation to learn their perspectives; takes independent action to change the direction of events.

Understanding Environment: Understands agendas and perspectives of others, recognizing and effectively balancing the interests and needs of ones own group with those of the broader organization.


Requires a Bachelor Degree and 3 years experience in digital analytics and statistical analytics. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Must have skills using tools such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, WebTrends, Power BI and Excel. Must use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Must independently solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions. Must be able to work independently while receiving minimal guidance. Must act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members.
