Location: Marietta, GA, 30006, USA

Description Daily tasks include the safe receiving and handling of materials in shipping, receiving, raw materials staging, finished goods staging, or similar areas in the Marietta warehouse; accurate recording of data; safe operation, inspection, and maintenance of equipment including forklift trucks, and possibly including turret lifts and/or chemical sampling instruments and devices.

Successful performance requires effective team interaction, focus on safety, timely completion of production assignments, and compliance with all associated critical, non-routine, and routine work procedures and policies.

Minimum qualifications include forklift truck operation with a safe record; attention to detail; safety awareness; personal integrity; adaptability; focus on safety, quality, and efficiency; ability to receive instruction, contribute suggestions, follow direction, and to contribute and operate within a team.

Additionally desired qualifications for some positions include turret lift experience; chemical handling; and mechanical aptitude.

Tasks and Duties:


+ Compliance with established operating procedures and safety standards to ensure safe and efficient material handling.
+ Successful completion of all required training, including DOT and OSHA.
+ Strict adherence to the Marietta 5S policy.
+ Strict adherence to all safety requirements including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Performance of OSHA-required equipment inspections prior to use of equipment.
+ Safe operation of various forklift truck and related equipment to move pressurized tanks, totes, drums, and pallets.
+ Safe loading and unloading of trailers, and movement of chemicals and other materials within the warehouse.
+ Lifting of packages weighing as much as 50 pounds.
+ Performance of daily housekeeping activities as assigned.
+ May require taking samples of chemicals according to established procedures.
+ May include safe operation of turret lift equipment for moving tanks, drums, totes, and pallets into and/or from racks having heights exceeding 20 feet.
+ May include training of other employees.
+ May include participation in root cause investigations if unplanned events or failures occur.
+ Positive participation on the Contract Operations and Site Logistics team including accepting responsibility, being accountable, contributing to the development of self and others, and unwavering commitment to the team objectives of safety and production.
+ Other responsibilities as assigned.
