Material Handler

Performs operations of the Supply Chain/Materials Management department with awareness and knowledge of the various areas of the operations in Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Warehousing, Inventory control and Shipping. Will be assigned to one of these areas but over time will cross train to gain knowledge of the complete operations. Utilizes the SAP system to perform transactions such as Good Receipt, Stock Overview, Goods Issue and other relevant material movements all while ensuring cGMP compliance.

Must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Must comply with safety policies of the company and site.

Must be able to use and safely operate a pallet jacks, fork trucks and/or motor vehicles

**Requirements**

Material Handler must have the following abilities and skills:

Ability to receive, track and distribute stock.

Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English.

Ability to comply with detailed procedures.

Ability to perform math with assistance of calculator.

Ability to prepare and follow routine administrative paperwork.

Ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers.

Bending, Kneeling, Squatting, Climbing Stairs, Climbing Ladders, Walking, Sitting, Reaching, Driving, Fine Motor Skills, Gowning, Standing and Lifting

Minimum 2+ years supply chain/logistics experience, ERP systems experience (SAP preferred), inventory control experience, vendor management experience.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred area of study: College Graduate, field of study: Supply Chain/Logistics

Duration: Temp position will last approximately 6 months
