**Job Title:** Material Handler



**Location:** Malvern, PA 19355



**Shift:** 6am - 230pm M-F



**Pay Rate:** $24.83/hr



**Length of Assignment:** thru the end of March 2020



**Summary:** The Warehouse Operator will support weigh and dispense operations, which includes weighing of raw materials per batch records and standard operating procedures to fulfill production requirements.




+ Must be able to work in a GMP controlled environment, adhering to strict processes for the handling, measurement, dispensing and transportation of raw materials, using procedurally mandated PPE and clean room gowning.

+ Shall complete material transactions and documentation in SAP, MES, and in paper records when required.

+ Ensure that all material reservations for buffer/media operations are submitted according to the production schedule, with sufficient time to allow for deliveries.

+ Have the ability to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, mathematical, diagram or schedule form.

+ Need to possess the ability to follow instructions, solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

+ Should work with a high level of concentration, be accepting and able to adapt to procedural changes. Responsible for supporting an uninterrupted inventory supply, as needed to support Malvern Campus Operations.

+ Support materials management from goods receipt and labeling, through to final delivery of all Raw Materials, Operating and Non-Operating Supplies.

+ Be accountable for the timely packing and shipping of materials to meet Customer requirements as well as local, state, federal, and international requirements.

+ Follow all appropriate GMPs, SOPs, Safety procedures and Company Policies while ensuring the safe use and proper care of company equipment



**Qualifications:**




+ Required to have the minimum of a college degree or High School Diploma with 2 Years Pharmaceutical experience or equivalent industry experience is required, Warehouse and Logistics experience is preferred.

+ Required to clear a TSA mandated Security Threat Assessment.

+ Required to have a Valid Driver s License.

+ Required to have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and logbooks, as well as review and provide feedback for SOP and other GMP and regulatory documentation.

+ Required to possess the ability to utilize various standard office programs for data entry and word processing; the ability to utilize software and customized programs to meet business needs.

+ Previous experience with MES and SAP would be consider an advantage.

+ Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

+ Should be able to manage multiple tasks, based on priorities dictated by business needs.

+ Required to have knowledge and the ability to operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools, as well as the ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.

+ Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb, bend and stoop; and reach with hands and arms.

+ Ability to lift 40lbs is required.

+ Ability to work for periods of time at temperatures as low as -40 C while wearing appropriate PPE is also required.

+ Needs to be mobile and able to independently transport themselves between various sites/locations, as dictated by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
