Description **Materials Control Technician – 1st shift-Fort Worth, TX**

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a full-time **experienced Materials Control Technician.** This opportunity is for one of our top Life Science clients at its location in Fort Worth, TX. The assignment is an 18 month position and tentatively starts April 2018 and pays $16.00 an hour.

**Duties and Responsibilities: (but not limited to):**


+ Accurately receive, store and issue materials according to established guidelines while utilizing JDEwards software package in an expeditious manner.
+ Assume material control material handler duties according to established guidelines.
+ Proven dependability ability to work independently, mechanical aptitude, dependable performance under stressful situations

+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**


+ Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
+ Must have 5 years warehouse/distribution experience
+ Must have 5 years forklift experience (Raymond 537 VNA)
+ Must have inventory control experience (cycle counts)
+ Proven dependability ability to work independently, mechanical aptitude, dependable performance under stressful situations
+ High degree of mechanical aptitude
+ Ability to function in a team environment, ability to function in a fast paced machine paced environment
+ Ability to operate computerized equipment and excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
**Physical Requirements:**


+ Exerting up to 100lbs. of force occasionally or 50lbs frequently or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move object.
**Term of Assignment:**


+ High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred)
+ Full –time: 18-month assignment: 1st shift-7:00am-3:30pm
+ Need to work 2 Saturdays a month
+ Tentative start date April 2018
