Kelly Services is currently seeking a Medical Device Project Manager in Deerfield, IL (must be local) to work a contract assignment of 12 months for one of our top clients. **Primary Responsibilities of the** Medical Device Project Manager **includes:**



Consultant successfully must meet criteria required for Sr. Project Manager job positions. In addition, consultant has approximately 8+ years of relevant industry experience that is requested by client and critical for project success. This relevant experience often includes a unique and difficult to find combination of skills. This consultant will often be utilized for moderate to large (often global) projects where project delays and/or efficiencies bring risk financially and/or to client reputation.


This project manager will work under PMO leadership to lead the EU MDR project for the Acute Therapies Global Business Unit product portfolio to maintain EU registrations through the relevant notified bodies for MDD renewals and MDR submissions.


Responsibilities:




+ Organize the prioritization, sequencing and tracking of progress

+ Prepare and facilitate meetings with business leadership to report status and present issues for decision-making

+ Coordinate and integrate with the overall EU MDR program

+ Drive a sense of urgency with team members and stakeholders



Requirements:




+ Excellent skills with MS Project and Excel

+ Ability to manage across large number of initiatives and integrate work streams into a cohesive program

+ Recognizes issues and develops solutions to keep the program on track

+ Identifies risks and proposes mitigation

+ Communicates effectively with stakeholders at various appropriate levels of detail and escalates effectively, when needed



Seeking:




+ Current Project Management Certification preferred (PMI, IPMA), but not a requirement

+ Software skills: Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, reporting) and MS Project are most important, but they will use Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Outlook

+ Industry Experience in Medical Device Industry required

+ Must have strong knowledge Medical Device Product Lifecycle (ISO 13485 and FDA QS Regulation 21 CFR Part 820)

+ Must have experience managing multiple projects at any given time, this is important.

+ Previous experience working for a global company and multiple stakeholders.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must

+ Additional skills include: detail oriented, organized, ability to follow-up, personable, persuasive, and persistent.



Summary:

1. Minimum 5 years experiences leading medical device projects through submissions regulatory approvals, working cross-functionally with contributing disciplines in a multi-site setup.

2. Industry Experience in Medical Device Industry required

3. Must have strong knowledge Medical Device Product Lifecycle (ISO 13485 and FDA QS Regulation 21 CFR Part 820)

4. Must have experience managing multiple projects at any given time, this is important.

5. Previous experience working for a global company and multiple stakeholders.

6. Bachelor of Science focused in Engineering or Science discipline.

7. Current Project Management Certification preferred (PMI, IPMA), but not a requirement

**Education and Experience Requirement of the** Medical Device Project Manager **includes** :




+ Minimum of a Bachelor of Science focused in Engineering or Science discipline.

+ Minimum 5 years experiences leading medical device projects through regulatory approvals, working cross-functionally with contributing disciplines



**Additional Information:**




+ Contract assignment, duration 12 months.
