Kelly Scientific Resources has a Temp-to-Hire opening for an entry level Microbiology Lab Technician in Topeka, KS.

Microbiology Lab Technician Duties:

- Prepare and test tissue samples for genetic disorders

- Follow standard procedures on microbiology testing and documentation of results

- Maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, and cleanliness

Lab Technician Requirements:

- Associates or Bachelors degree in Science required

- 1-2 years laboratory or specimen-handling experience, can be from science classe or from work experience

- Knowledge of biology, chemistry, or microbiology

- Attention to detail

- Ability to work independently

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- Dependable (attendance, punctuality, following directions exactly)

+ Training will be provided!
+ Work schedule is standard business hours Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
+ Starting pay level of $14/hr, with an increase to $15 when hired on permanent
