Kelly Services is currently seeking a Welder for one of our top manufacturing clients in Athens, GA.

As a Welder placed with Kelly Services, you will be working with one of our premier clients to Weld the metal frames of climate control systems for trucks and trailers.

Shift Information:

- 2nd Shift: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Monday - Thursday, $15.75 per hour*

*For either shift, plant needs may require that you stay late some days and that some weeks you may be required to work on a Friday and/or Saturday.

Responsibilities Include:

- Welding Metal Frames for Climate Control Systems that will go into Trucks and Trailers

- Performing repetitive work to meet company quotas

- Reading Drawings/blueprints and applying those to production

- Properly use and operate the MIG welding equipment

**Requirements**

- At least 1 year previous Mig Welding Experience Required. Experience in Welding at more than one company preferred. Also, knowledge and experience of other types of Welding in addition to Mig is a plus.

- You will need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand for 10-12 hours a day

- Ability to work independently and safely at all times

- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with your wrists and hands for 10-12 hours a day.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Available to stay late and work on Friday and Saturday with less than a day-s notice in addition to the scheduled hours.
