+ This OPEN-ENDED contract role is located onsite in **Midland, MI at** **Dow Chemical** .

+ Monday-Friday 8:00 PM-5:00 PM!!

+ **$20.00-$28.00/** hr. commensurate to experience





**_JOB OVERVIEW:_**



The **First Level Mobile Support Specialist** is a role that supports the portfolio of mobile offerings as defined by the Mobile Device Service Management Team guided by the Mobile Device Steering Team. This role interacts directly with the customer of the service.




+ This is a technical customer service type role where the employee is to be adaptive and understanding of a customers mobile related issues or questions.




+ The expectations of this role are to be a quick learner, be adaptive to change and have knowledge, customer focused and interest in cutting edge technology, specifically mobile devices.




+ An individual in this role will be aligned to provide support for mobile end users but will not be limited to only the users aligned if other users need assistance.

+ Depending on the needs of the region, some Second Level tasks and analyst tasks may be performed by First Level Support.





**_First Level Mobile Support Primary Job Responsibilities:_**



_Supporting assigned mobile users enrolled in the Enterprise Mobile Device Service Offerings_





Support includes but is not limited to:




+ Providing general information regarding devices (supported and recommended makes and models)

+ Providing information regarding local cellular plans to users and Service Management

+ Work with local carriers to provide or modify user invoice information (including cancellation of plans) when requested by Service Management, the aligned business or users

+ Work with users aligned carrier to assist in warranty request

+ Assisting in basic troubleshooting and general device questions

+ Assisting in acquiring related mobile equipment

+ Informing the user of advancements in the service and industry as it relates to applicable content

+ Assist with plan adjustments and/or disputes with carriers

+ Informing and working with the Service Management team regarding abnormal request and/or service improvement opportunities

+ Understanding service changes as communicated by Service Management

+ Identify and works with Tech Management to understand complex problems related to mobile devices.

+ Executing the Mobile Device Governance process as defined by Service Management when needed

+ Assist with activating and/or upgrading mobile devices

+ Including but not limited to assisting with the re-configuring of settings and moving files

+ Assist in the configuration and general education of Enterprise network access and applications, including email, WiFi, VPN and supported applications

+ Respond to user emails and calls regarding smart phone requests and questions

+ Working with users to gather devices no longer being used

+ Assist Advanced Support with task when requested

+ First Level Support will monitor the Mobile Support team mailbox.





**_Required Skills:_**




+ Familiarity with Mobile Devices and their operating systems (Android, IOS)

+ Able to communicate effectively and with empathy via Phone, Email and Instant Messaging tools

+ Able to write/create/update process and help documentation.

+ Be able to Time Manage assigned Tickets in accordance with Service Level Agreements

+ Be able to use Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, SharePoint/Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)





**_Recommended skills:_**




+ Familiarity with Mobile Iron and Microsoft Intune (Azure)

+ Understanding of Device and Application Management

+ Understanding of Security Controls in the Mobile device space (Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access Policies, etc)
