Description **Position: Network Administrator (Local DFW Applications Only)**

**Location: Remote - but will go onsite with customers to provide service**

**Position Type: Contract to Hire (6 months)**

**Position Description:**

Skilled IT professionals providing support to a growing client base throughout the DFW area and beyond. We are seeking a motivated individual who can step into a role on our team supporting multiple clients, hardware systems, applications and networks in a fast paced environment.

**Job Responsibilities:**

-Experience setting up and deploying new servers and network equipment

-Experience executing or managing deployment projects

-Experience troubleshooting workstation and server hardware

-Experience with RAID arrays and storage technologies

-Experience performing disaster recovery

-Participate in rotating Help Desk, Dispatch and Monitoring roles

-Provide remote and on-site support of customer workstations, networks, servers and applications

-Provide high levels of communication and customer service at all times

-Create tickets for customer requests and take ownership of assigned tickets through to resolution

-Keep ticket statuses and documentation updated

-Manage time effectively and maintain multiple active tasks/projects

-Adapt daily schedule as required to handle urgent issues in a fast-paced environment

-Work from home with minimal supervision and maintain productive output

**Required Skills:**

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent time and task management skills

-Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory environments

-Experience setting up new PCs for users and migrating user data/applications

-Experience removing viruses/malware from systems

**Preferred Skills:**

-Experience managing firewalls and managed switches

-Experience troubleshooting workstation hardware

-Experience working with Office 365

-Experience with networking technology - switching, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, -Wireless, VPN

-Experience setting up and troubleshooting server backups, both local and cloud

-Experience with server/workstation monitoring systems

-Experience supporting major software packages - Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, etc

-Experience supporting Windows/macOS/iOS/Android systems
