We are currently seeking a Neuroscience Research Assistant/Coordinator to work with the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, MD

**TASKS/SERVICES** : The contractor shall:
(1) Assist in the acquisition of MRI and PET scans conducted by Section Staff.
(2) Assist National Institute on Aging’s Laboratory of Behavioral Neuroscience researchers in collecting structural and functional MRI scans, including administration of task procedures during functional MRI scans and assisting in cognitive testing of neuroimaging research study participants.
(3) Assist with all aspects of data collection for MRI and PET neuroimaging studies collected by Section Investigators; accompany participants to imaging studies to ensure adherence to the imaging protocol; administer computer tasks during scanning; administer a brief interview to update medical and family history information; administer measures assessing cognitive complaints and depressive symptoms.
(4) Administer a broad range of neuropsychological tests and tests of cognitive functioning in longitudinal studies of neuroimaging study participants. These tests include assessments of mental status and orientation, tests of attention, memory under several conditions especially immediate, delayed, recognition, prospective, and implicit memory for words and figures.
(5) Prepare materials for presentation and manuscripts.

**REQUIREMENTS** : The contractor must have:
(1) Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Neuroscience.
(2) Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in research or a related field.
(3) Advanced computing skills including the use of Excel
(4) Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with individuals of varied ages and backgrounds.
(5) Excellent organizational and time management skills.
