We are seeking an individual to work as a **Biological Scientist (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.**

**TASKS/SERVICES.** The contractor shall:

The purpose of this position is to support research inside the NIMH laboratory including, performing complex PET quantification data analysis, performing PET image data analyses including standard image reconstruction, attenuation correction, performing computer programing, performing positron emission tomography (PET) procedures using brain and body scanners.

Provides technical experience needed to assist in studying the basic principles of plant and animal life

Identify, classify, and study structure, behavior, ecology, physiology, nutrition, culture, and distribution of plant and animal species

Assists with performing basic laboratory experiments and procedures

Analyze experimental data and interpret results to write reports and summaries of findings

Prepares, organizes and maintains various lab samples, supplies, and equipment

Analyze laboratory findings

Learns new laboratory techniques and procedures

Program and use computers to store, process, and analyze data

**REQUIREMNTS.** The contractor must have:

A Master's degree is a minimum requirement

Graduate of a AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required


1.Possess Veterinary tech experience

2.Excellent analytical skills


Scanning and imaging technology

Microsoft Suite

Field of Study

Nuclear, Industrial Radiology, and Biological Technologies
