Description Our client, a leader in the oil and gas service industry has an immediate need for **Solids Control Technicians to work at its site in Waynesburg, PA,** (located approximately 50 mi south of Pittsburgh, PA and 60 miles north of Clarksburg, WV).

**This is a long term contract that will run until the end of the year, approximately, January 1st.**

**Work Hours:**

12 hour shifts. You will either work 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am. You must be able to complete the contract.

**Lodging:**

Local residents can commute each day for their assigned shift. If you would like to stay on site, trailers are furnished at no cost and a per diem of $25 per day is paid for meals.

**Pay:**

$16.50 hour

You will work 7 days per week, 12 hours per day. (84 hours per week) All hours over 40 in a work week will be paid at time and a half. ($24.75)

**Job Duties:**


+ Working under direct supervision, you will participate with the processing and delivery of Fluid Environmental Services by mobilization, operation and demobilization of Fluid Environmental Services
+ Operate solids control equipment including dryers, centrifuges, vacuums, screw conveyors and pumps.
+ Perform basic preventative maintenance on all equipment as needed.
+ Ability to safely operate backhoes, bobcats, forklifts and track hoes to handle waste removal from site.
+ Daily reporting and ordering equipment and supplies.
+ Assisting with the rigging up and rigging down of solids control equipment.
+ Overseeing the mechanical/electrical processes which are used to provide enhanced drilling properties and recycle drilling mud through closed loop systems.
+ Operate the equipment (centrifuges) according to specifications directed by the Mud Engineer or Drilling Supervisor.
+ Strong computer navigation skills.
**Requirements**


+ High School Diploma or equivalent education.
+ **2+ years of industry related experience as a Solids Control Technician or drilling fluids.**
+ Ability to lift 50lbs continuously throughout the day Desired Characteristics:
+ Experience operating heavy equipment.
+ Good mechanical aptitude and/or the ability to perform basic mechanical repair.
