Seeking immediately available, motivated, hardworking individuals to work as a temporary Human Resources Administrative Assistant for a premier client in the Buffalo Grove Area. Our client is a premier manufacturer of electronics for a variety of industries primarily in the medical industry. **6 month project (** **_could go longer but not guaranteed_** **)**

**Pay Rate:** $18/hr

**Hours** : Monday-Friday in office. 8 am 4:30 pm.

Directly supporting the HR Manager

**Job Description:**

**Purpose Statement:** Responsible for providing administrative support to the assigned Vice Presidents/Directors and exercises independent judgment in handling calls, maintaining the executives' schedule and calendar, and coordinating meetings, conferences, presentations and travel. Prepares reports and presentation materials, schedules and monitors workflow, and provides project support. The confidential nature of this position is of the utmost importance.

**Key Job Accountabilities:**

+ Composes documents, presentations and correspondence, typically of a confidential nature.

+ Participates with other administrative assistants in providing back-up support.

+ Manages all aspects of travel; assist with travel arrangements and logistics of potential employees.

+ Prepares meeting agendas and briefing, maintains meeting notes and arranges for implementation of action items.

+ Handles telephone calls, greets visitors and responds to information requests.

+ Manages the reservation of conference rooms to reduce scheduling conflicts.

+ Makes catering arrangements and provide assistance for on-site and off-site lunch meetings, as requested.

+ Distribute mail on a daily basis.

+ Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business

+ Additional duties as assigned by management.

**Education/Experience Qualifications:**

+ A minimum of an Associate's degree is required; a Bachelors degree is preferred.

+ Three (3) years of related experience is required; Five (5) or more years of related experience is preferred.

+ Inter-relationship skills needed while supporting a number of Service Centers.

+ International awareness is desirable.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

**Other Qualifications:**

+ Employee must be self motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

+ Attention to detail, organizational skills, good communication skills, and computer proficiency are all required.

+ Advanced decision making, problem solving skills.

+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; develop clear and concise messages.

+ Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks.

+ Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

+ Must be able to interact with employees on all levels.

+ Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ General office equipment and materials.
