**_Operations Manager Conshohocken, PA_**



One of our top clients in Conshohocken, PA is looking for a stellar Operations Manager to lead, direct, and control the activities of the site so that it achieves its short and long-term financial and operating objectives (for example increased profitability, productivity, or market share) as set by the overall corporate business plan. You will support, lead and develop the site organizations manufacturing functions so that all production activities meet the organizations business objectives. This person must be an Operational Excellence leader that is able to effectively promote a continuous improvement culture and drive change throughout the site.



**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**






+ Responsible for the overall achievement of the sites operational objectives as defined by management.

+ Overall accountability for profitably and efficiently managing operations activities, resources and priorities as measured by Financial, Delivery and Quality metrics in the assigned operational area. Ensure that the manufacturing activities meet established targets and operational excellence standards

+ Champion of company Production System, consisting of but not only Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma and assure mindset for year over year cost improvement and production efficiency

+ Oversee the preparation of budgets and CAPEX plans in accordance with the GBUs and business requirements for his / her function

+ Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to develop and implement production systems and processes (e.g. Sales and Operational Planning).

+ Own long-term manufacturing improvement plan and play a pivotal role in long term site development plans

+ Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood

+ Develop and maintain a favorable employee relations environment and work with staff on their personal growth and development goals to ensure employees feel encouraged and motivated to contributed at their full potential

+ Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company Policies and Guidelines as well as within the mandates of our customers quality system requirements and regulations

+ Act as Functional Manager, overseeing Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics. As Site Manager, responsible as Legal Manager for Administration, Human Resources and EHS.

+ Handle confidential information with care.

+ Where do we cover compliance with Labor Safety/ Labor law, dangerous goods regulations or overall site safety

+ Responsibility to ensure that direct reports and overall employee population are also aware and adhere to Code of Conduct Guidelines.











**Supervisory Responsibilities**




+ Act as Functional Manager, overseeing Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics. As Site Manager, responsible as Legal Manager for Administration, Human Resources and EHS.



**Qualifications**




+ To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



**Education and/or Experience**



+ A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field and a minimum of 8-10 years of operations experience are required.

+ A Masters degree is preferred. Must have 5 years of leadership experience. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

+ A competence for and adherence to environmental, health and safety standards is required.

+ Ability to comprehend financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures, ability to assign and delegate work, manage conflict, problem solve, answer questions and evaluate results of performance, ability to set realistic goals and individual targets, deadlines and timelines, ability to exercise independent judgment to determine project guidelines, purpose and follow through, ability to visualize and assess abstract ideas to develop and implement structured plans, and ability to define and lead teams to goal completion.

+ Computer proficiency in SAP as well as MS Office is required.

+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D methodology and other manufacturing and quality excellence tools is required.
