**Kelly Services is looking for an Operations Manager for a company located in Seattle, Washington!**


This is a Direct Hire opportunity so you will be hired on with the company right away!


The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of their team, attainment of assigned goals and deadlines, and the supervision of their staff. Service to members and departments throughout our partner credit unions is a primary responsibility. The Manager is responsible for ensuring quality and timeliness of loan processing, underwriting, funding, and closing. The Operations Manager contributes ideas to senior management to solve issues and promote strategic growth, ensuring continued development for loan products and services. The Manager fosters a strong working relationship with other Managers, department heads, and senior management, and embraces the critical role to ensure long-term success of company and its credit union partners. This position exercises independent judgment that requires sound decisions based on research and data with minimum supervision.

- $100,000 a year


**Hours:**


- Monday Friday (8:00am 5:00pm)


**Job Duties:**


- Manages a team of 8-15 people comprised of processors, underwriters, and funders through coaching, mentoring and reviewing quality.


- Maximize process efficiency by reviewing procedures, processes and workloads, adjusting as necessary to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.


- Review operational procedures and systems and implement strategies to improve delivery times, decrease costs per funded loan, and reduce risk exposure. Recommend, create and implement changes to ensure adherence to policy and procedure, and develop quality control processes to gauge effectiveness.


- Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, state and federal mortgage related regulations, and skills within the Home Loan Center.


- Implement, and continually monitor a quality program that involves products, processes and procedures to facilitate the sale and servicing of retained loans on the secondary market.


- Manage and direct staff resources and vendors to meet annual budget.


- Follow market trends and recommend changes based on demand, market, and capacity.


- Actively involved in backing up staff in processing, underwriting, drawing closing documents and funding loans to ensure service standards and deadlines are consistently met.


- Generate, review, and distribute weekly and monthly reports to partners, management and staff.


- Responsible for hiring, training and development, and performance management, of processors, underwriters, and funders


- Establish and communicate staff expectations. Hold employees accountable to service levels, timely delivery of loans to investors, and standards of accuracy.


- Prepare and conduct performance evaluations in a timely manner. Review and update job descriptions on a regular basis.


- Function as a subject matter expert for systems and software used in mortgage operations. Be able to train staff as needed. Admin backup duties.


- Resolve member concerns and make sound decisions.


**Requirements:**


- 2-year degree or equivalent experience.


- 5 years of experience + management.


- Strong skills in processing, underwriting, and compliance.


- 3-5 years in an operations supervisory role.


- Eligible for NMLS Loan Originator Registration.


- Underwriting experience a plus.


- Extensive knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, and underwriting standards required.


- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.


- Solid problem-solving skills and detail orientated.


- Good organizational skills and prioritizing ability to meet service standards and deadlines.


- Strong leadership skills with ability to work independently, as a team member and team leader.


- Ability to motivate and direct staff.


- Ability to effectively handle member complaints and employee relations conflicts.


- Present a positive and professional image to all employees and members.


- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data.


- Ability to use technical resources.


- Ability to use a personal computer, proficient in teaching operational tasks both on and off a computer.
