**Location: Battle Creek MI**

**Contract: 1 year**

**Pay: 22 an hour**

**_MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ALL SHIFTS_** : Responsible for directing and guiding operators and their activities for assigned area/shift in the execution of production and/or logistics plans receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, shipping, etc. , shift change management and communication, daily production standards and labor reconciliation. May be used as Maintenance Supervisor relief. Participate in the development of and implements plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility. Operates production lines in accordance with FDA guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP/SQF program guidelines. Responsible for team development of employees to insure proper mixing, machining, packaging and logistics in assigned areas according to targeted specifications, to achieve total quality. Helps to develop new Operations Supervisors in all responsibilities and promote a positive attitude. Responsible for problem solving process to resolve and/or mitigate those operational issues result in negative performance to plan as determined by the established escalation process.

Responsible for support of Lean Training as directed by Operations Manager for assigned area/shift. Responsible for compliance with all regulations. Food safety plant in proper sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines followed. Compliance with food safety policies and procedures. Compliance with employee safety policies and procedures. Skills Required Participate in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Training including development KSAT Administer the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement/work rules and company policies and procedures in a consistent manner, and provides input during planning and preparation for labor negotiations.

Attempt to resolve grievance and disputes on the floor whenever possible Maintain understanding of processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate, as needed, those issue identified as potential risks to, or, opportunities to improve plant performance. Warehouse responsibility to include palletizing area, supervision of hourly/clerk employees, product reconciliation, and outbound execution to the schedule. Responsible for receiving, shipping and COA; DLX management and SAP; BOL preparation; Yard management; Management of rolling plant stock; Accountability for DURP ensuring compliance to procedures, tracking, etc. ; Homeland security = CTPAT; Physical inventory; Staging Raw/Pack Materials. Shift flexibility is required as this role will be supporting a 24/7 operation.

**Skills Preferred Experience Required Required:** - Bachelors degree in a related field and 2 years related experience - OR - High School Diploma/GED required plus a minimum of 5 years related work experience in manufacturing or supervisory role
