Now hiring: **Production Packaging Coordinator** will coordinate with the clients vendors and other groups within supply chain to oversee vendor packaging production activities meet the quality and standards of the initial request.


Hours: 1st shift

Salary: BOE $55k - $70K


**Responsibilities:**

The Packaging Coordinator is responsible for organizing and monitoring administrative, product, and project related tasks within the Packaging Department. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and reviewing packaging batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitoring packaging processes, suggesting and implementing organizational improvements, creating a detailed weekly/daily packaging schedule, and prioritizing and preparing packaging requests for production. He/she will be the primary liaison between Packaging Product Support, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Production Planning. The Packaging Coordinator will need to be familiar with the various product line characteristics as they relate to Packaging requirements, as well as have a detailed understanding of all daily packaging technician duties. He/she will be a self-directed independent individual who demonstrates intermediate levels of problem solving capabilities and thrives in a fast-paced, highly diverse, team oriented environment.


Tasks include but are not limited to:


+ Manage multiple projects working with colleague Packaging Coordinators, local scheduler and master planner to resolve external packaging operation schedule conflicts and issues.

+ Work with program External Vendor Production Coordinators to understand packaging design in order to manage packaging and labelling production activities at core vendors facilities and/or vendor managed depots.

+ Develop strong relationships with core vendor packaging organizations. Use standard packaging modules within the current approved inventory system, to create and approve packaging

+ Use Global Document Management System (GDMS) to create, review and approve vendor packaging and labeling documentation. Ensure compliance of the documents with clients SOPs, requirements and cGMP principles

+ Use standard assigned CSP functions in Clinical Supplies Distribution System (CSDS) to import packaged inventory for distribution purposes and map Dispensable Units to Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems for drug dispensing.


Partner with various external and internal roles to ensure production activities are performed within agreed to timelines and that the final packaged output meets the initial request. The roles may include, but are not limited to:


+ External Vendor Packaging Coordinators

+ Inventory Management

+ Schedulers

+ Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Analytical Development

+ Global Clinical Supplies - Supply Chain Leads, Operational Strategy Lead, Clinical Research Pharmacist, Distribution, Import/Export, IRT Global Oversight Team


**Qualifications:**


Required Experience / Education:


+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 1+ year Project management within a GMP environment

+ Package and label design


Preferred Experience / Education:


+ Bachelors Degree in Science or a Business related field

+ Clinical Supply Chain

+ Clinical trial design and GMP Documentation
