Description **PART TIME ACCOUNTING CLERK**

**Two year contract**

**Orlando, FL**

**Part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week. Schedule is flexible, but prefers 5-6 hours 5 days per week.**

**Summary**

Performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. This position involves diplomatic interaction with customers, staff and vendors to provide billing information and support in order to facilitate accurate billing and swift payment of invoices due to the organization.

**Responsibilities**


+ Utilizes computerized accounting software programs (Billing Software, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.
+ Researches any discrepancies between opportunity and contract prior to invoicing.
+ Creates all invoices, ensures accuracy prior to submitting to the customer.
+ Tracks & maintains site, login and special billing instructions for certain customers
+ Submission of customers who require invoicing on their online billing site or third party billing site.
+ Post daily bank deposit payments and applies orphan payments.
+ Create opportunity, sales order, invoice and post payment for onsite terminal transactions.
+ Collections on account over 90 days.
+ Maintains deferred revenue spreadsheet up to date.
+ Researches and applies unallocated cash.
+ Track & calculate Trial & Product Usage for SAP entry
+ Calculate Sales & Use Tax for SAP entry
+ Maintains and updates COGS spreadsheet Program Analysis
+ Maintains telephone and email contact with account managers and customers on receivable matters.
+ Organizes and maintains up to date financial records.
+ Assists in ad hoc analysis, as requested.
**Requirements**


+ College degree preferred
+ 4-6 years hands-on Accounting experience
+ Competent Computer skills with Microsoft Suite
+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
+ Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
+ Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
+ Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
+ Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
