Description **Part -Time Field Logistics Coordinator**

**Medical Device Company in San Diego, CA.**

**Hours: 2 PM - 6 PM (20 hour work week)**

**Pay: $20.00 per hour**

**Direct Hire Opportunity**


+ The Coordinator is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the achievement of Field Logistics objectives.
+ Perform check in process for implant sets to include: scanning inventory, completing inventory transfers and returns, ordering replacement parts, and sorting mixed sets
+ Provide general support to the operations including the assembly of new instrument sets
+ Receive in loose finished goods inventory and put to stock or match with appropriate sets.
+ Complete shipping functions to include: forwarding and issuing sets to customer, communicating incomplete set information to customer service, assembling packing lists, and completing shipping manifest
+ Communicates with other company departments regarding product dispositions and potential problems
+ Performs warehouse transactions in EZ Office Inventory
+ Ensures compliance to procedures that apply to the ExpressCare area
+ Provides Project support for implementation of process improvements. Conducts training of new resources and cross training for current team members. Communicates in all directions to keep coordinators, peers, and Management informed of project status, process changes, and opportunities.
+ Physically receive and check in surgical sets.
+ Complete transfer transactions between sub inventories to ensure inventory accuracy
+ Analyze data and make recommendations on whether to increase/decrease inventory
+ Partner with Field Sales Leaders to create trade outs and consignments for hospital conversions
+ Work with field representative to move inventory to meet set utilization requirements or process as returns
**Occasional Duties**

+ Checks in instrument sets to ensure all required instruments are present in set and order replacement parts when necessary
+ Perform billing and audit functions in accordance with company policies
**Safety, Housekeeping activities:**

+ Perform housekeeping duties as directed to maintain a safe and clean working environment
+ Execute all safety policies, rules and regulations
+ Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
+ Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately upon discovery to Supervisor/Safety Coordinator

+ A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
+ Related experience is required
+ Medical device loaner operations experience is helpful **.**
+ Work independently with minimal supervision and oversight.
+ Ability to function in a complex Logistics operation.
+ Ability to do simple math and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
+ Collaboration skills with peers, customers and other stake holders.
+ **F** lexibility/sense of urgency (Takes direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality)
+ Ability to follow policies, SOPs, regulations and legal requirement knowledge.
+ Able to lift at least 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, stand and/or walk on concrete floors 95% of the time, bend/twist/squat; perform repetitive tasks.
