Description **Job Description**

Parts Coordinator to manage the branch inventory of spare parts as well as all customer equipment. The Parts Coordinator will distribute parts to mechanics in a timely manner to ensure the timely repair and maintenance of equipment.

In addition, this position will be responsible for supplying accurate parts information to employees and customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain an orderly and clean department with parts stored in proper locations for easy access.

Complete purchase orders as required for all purchased items. Ensure all prices are recorded on purchase order when the purchase order is written.

Receive all incoming goods verifying quantities received against quantities shipped on packing slips.

Complete Return-To-Vendor forms when shipping purchased goods back to vendor ensuring all fields are completed including cost of goods returned.

Open Work Orders for all equipment returning off-rent as well as for customer equipment.

Issue parts to mechanics for repair of equipment and record transactions on the appropriate Work Order.

Maintain work order throughout repair and ensure mechanic write up and check list are attached when closed.

Set up work orders and relieve inventory as parts are distributed.

Monitor stocking levels and order inventory as required based on usage of parts.

Maintain service records and historical repair information. Maintain Files for all equipment (including vehicles) and customer repairs.

Provide parts pricing information to branch personnel when needed.

Package and ship goods as required via UPS, Federal Express, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year parts counter experience in a diesel engine shop or related industrial equipment parts environment.

Ability to maintain well-organized file system for all Work Orders, Fleet files and customer Work Orders for reference purposes.

Ability to respond and support emergency requirements for parts and equipment.

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form.

Demonstrated proficiency with computer software programs to include Microsoft Word and Excel.

General knowledge of computerized inventory systems and third party shipping s
