Kelly Services is recruiting for a Patient Service Director in the Elkins Park, PA area on a direct hire basis!


**Summary:**


Oversee administrative support staff for TEIs Patient Services, Medical Records and satellites. Manage staff in order to support students, faculty, providers, and residents on tasks, which assist with the treatment of patients and education of students. As a member of the management team, ensure patient satisfaction and good public relations.


**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**


1. Establish goals and oversees implementation of current and new processes for the Patient Services department.


2. Hires, leads, directs, coaches, trains, develops and disciplines patient services team members.


3. Work in conjunction with Chiefs of Service, other clinicians, faculty, students and administration to ensure patient services is providing effective and efficient support.


6. Monitor, supervise and coordinate patient checkout and collection of patient pay portions of bill.


7. Monitor and provide real-time feedback to staff regarding all appointment scheduling, including preregistration, day of registration, check-in, follow-up, cancellations and rescheduling.


8. Track work in progress and prepare daily and other periodic reports reflecting the performance of the staff. 9. Manage mail, form management, office and administrative supplies. This includes maintaining examination room stock of forms and office supplies.


11. Manage computerized timekeeping and payroll system for support staff.


12. Assist with the preparation and review of applicable budgets, including a review of revenue and expense reports


**Education/Experience:**


? Minimum five (5) years supervisory experience in a clinical facility, preferably a high volume optometric or ophthalmic practice.


? Masters degree in business administration, health care or other related field required.


**Skills and Other Requirements:**


? Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills a must.


? Knowledge of third party insurance and billing, including comprehensive knowledge of CPT and ICD coding required.


? Knowledge of medical terminology/abbreviations and established professional billing processes, procedures and protocols.


? Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite


? Experience with an electronic health records


**Salary** : $70,000/yr
