Description Kelly Services is actively seeking a **Payroll Analyst for Nissan at their HQ located in Franklin, TN.**
This is a **long term indefinite contract opportunity** to join a great team!

**Payroll Analyst**
**What skills does this position require?**
-Exceptional analytical skills, organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of experience. Generally reports to Manager or Senior Manager. Open to entry level candidates as well, however must have an advanced level skill set in Microsoft Office & eager to learn.

**Describe the principle, core primary tasks that a person in this position performs on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis?**

- Responsible for a variety of payroll functions including weekly, bi-weekly and monthly US payroll, bi-weekly Canada payroll, updating employee information, creating and printing payroll reports, calculating and recording payroll deductions, processing requests for paycheck advances, and processing terminations.
- Responsible for balancing and validating earnings and deduction totals, printing, sorting, distributing paychecks and processing other paperwork.
- Responsible for payroll related tasks like wage attachments, relocations, tuition reimbursements, vehicle lease deductions, severances and settlements, calculating military pay.
- Responsible for supplemental payroll runs such as bonuses, recognition payments. Responsible for making sure all employee payroll information is correct and up to date.
- Responsible for resolving employee questions and for ensuring that all payroll functions are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for weekly payroll processing audits by inspecting registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions.
- Responsible for reconciliation of payroll checks and resolution of any discrepancies. Responsible for establishing and maintaining payroll related records.
- Responsible for preparation of payroll reports from PeopleSoft and the timekeeping systems. Required to closely follow standard payroll processes and guidelines and to comply with various state and federal laws and regulations.

• W2/ HOURLY PAY RATE: Open (based upon experience and qualifications)
• There is no “per diem” with this position
• There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
