Payroll/HR Adminstrator - McGregor TX



Kelly Services is seeking an energetic professional to fill our Payroll / HR Administrator role with one of our top clients in the McGregor TX. As a HR Administrator you will be responsible for:



HR Admin Duties include but are not limited to




+ Prepare and send New Hire Documents and Packets

+ Run Background checks, set up Drug Screens, and process I9 Reporting as needed

+ Enter New Hires into ADP, Syteline, Shop-trak, and Principal

+ Maintain Employee Records for Payroll, ERP, Benefit Platforms and Employment files.

+ Track, distribute, and process Benefit paperwork for newly eligible employees.

+ Enter elected benefits into ADP and on Benefit platforms

+ Enter Child Support Requirements and Maintain Child Support Files

+ Process Employment Terminations

+ COBRA Processing and Reporting

+ Complete outside requests for Verification of Employment, Wage Verifications, etc



Payroll Duties include but are not limited to o




+ Complete required Payroll Reporting for Internal and Federal purposes

+ Maintain Employment Payroll Records and Updates including Rate Changes, Deduction Changes, Shift Differentials, and Stipends.

+ Process Weekly, Bi-weekly, and K1 Payrolls

+ Transfer Time and Attendance data from ERP. Prepare and upload to ADP for Payroll processing.

+ Calculate and Process Certified Payroll Weekly according to Contractual Agreements.

+ Report Certified Payroll Weekly According to Contractual Agreements

+ Complete Monthly and Yearly Payroll Reporting requirements for DOL and Federal Government as needed.

+ Prepare Reports as needed for Finance and Operations.

+ Provide documentation and information to employees and supervisors as needed.

+ Prepare K1 Statements



Time Tracking and Labor Duties




+ Set up and train users in ADP and ERP systems

+ Enter Labor Corrections as reported

+ Set up new hires with appropriate Time Tracking software.

+ Process daily and weekly Labor corrections for Shop-trak as reported.



Accounting and Troubleshooting Duties include but are not limited to




+ Troubleshooting problems in all platforms including ADP, ERP, and other website and platforms used regularly.

+ Download and Process Payroll Journal Entries to Syteline

+ Review and Code Benefit Bills for Accounts Payable

+ Reconcile Benefit Bills to Employee Deductions

+ Download and Prepare Reports for Job Costing including Labor to post, OT hours, and Employee counts.

+ Prepare and Process 401K Payments





Basic Qualifications




+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Must know Microsoft Office with an advanced understanding of Excel

+ Must be able to work from 8 to 5, Monday through Friday

+ Must be energetic, helpful, have great people skills, and be able to multitask



Preferred Skills/Experience




+ Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

+ General accounting background and understanding of HR Requirements is preferable

+ Prior general office experience

+ Associates and/or Bachelors degree



Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a temp position starting as soon as possible and running though Dec./Jan.
