Temp to Perm opportunity with non-profit organization looking to bring on a Payroll Manager to their Human Resources Team. This position will be remote (at least for the immediate future).


**Purpose of Position**


Reporting to the SVP of HR, the Payroll Manager is responsible for coordinating all payroll activities nationally and acting as a single point of contact for all sites on the payroll system. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of all payroll and audit procedures, while ensuring regulatory requirements are met.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Oversee all payroll activities for the seamless execution of the bi-weekly payroll, including:

+ Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll register to ADP; including payroll reports for management bi-weekly audit, and as required.

+ Oversee and manage timesheet approval process each pay period

+ Audits & analysis payroll reports to ensure batch controls, balancing and payroll standards are followed by staff members.

+ Oversee and manage the biweekly analysis of 403B Pension plan match along with any inquires

+ Manage the vacation accruals process; export vacation accrual file to HR along with voluntary reports for all company codes

+ Review and confirm check requests for payment to payroll vendors.

+ Gather and enter data for quarterly reconciliation, Guardian, State unemployment.

+ Prepare information for IRS Form 990 annual report.

+ Fill out all Government Agencies, Housing, Regulatory reports, etc and respond to all garnishment enquiries.

+ Manage all reports in the ADP System and export as needed.

+ Manage year end W2 process for employees while adhering to IRS requirements.

+ Manage employee contributions to the employee's campaign for IRS purposes.

+ Follow the required internal procedures on individual changes (PSN) process.

+ Handle year-end payroll closing procedures.

+ Maintain a control logs with dates, check numbers and amounts.

+ Review and Journalize taxes adjustment relevant to the payroll or with relation to TPSP etc.

+ Resolve employees payroll and related questions.


+ Partner with Finance in closing and all budgetary affairs related to payroll; including the completion of payroll bank reconciliations.

+ Act as the single point of contact for the Payroll Service Provider (ADP) to ensure that changes and enhancements to the payroll process and system are implemented successfully and the timely submission of the bi-weekly payroll for all sites.

+ Lead all payroll changes and implementation of HR policy changes with the HR team.

+ Other duties as assigned


**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**


+ Must have a minimum 10-15 years of demonstrated national payroll experience


Must have launched, managed and are familiar payroll national systems or have experience
