Description **Job Description**

- Administer daily activities of the payroll function

- Control the receipt and timely processing of the payroll information which includes, but is not limited to the following;

- Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls with the goal of zero preventable errors

- New hire setup review

- Rate change review

- Disability payments, including, but not limited to 3rd Party sick pay

- Communicate payroll policies & procedures to employees

- Liaise between ADP, Finance, and HR

- Monitor, review and make recommended changes for ADP Data import processes and procedures

- Process tax notices and multi-state filings as required

- Maintain Accurate payroll records and required documentation

- Assist with Month-end-close, including timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and reconcilatons

- Perform general ledger reconciliation process for all payroll accounts, and generate reports for accounting department

- Knowledge of usual payroll policies, protocols and regulations

- Work on HR projects on an individual or team basis that are not specifically related to payroll

**Requirements**

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

- A minimum of 7 years of payroll experience to include experience handling multi-state payrolls

- ADP experience is required

- Experience with Microsoft Office to include strong Excel skills

- Strong customer service and customer focus skills

- Exceptional attention to detail

- APA certification preferred but not required
