**Kelly Services is hiring a Long-Term Temporary Payroll Supervisor for a global client in Troy, MI.**





Job Title: Payroll Supervisor (including benefits)



**Position Summary:**


**The Payroll Supervisor / KOCG Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational support associated with a BPS (Business Process Solutions) program. The Payroll Supervisor will be primarily responsible for providing Kronos administrative support to the clients various sites for the employees active through the Kelly MSP supplier program. In addition, the Payroll Supervisor will provide feedback to the client regarding opportunities for process improvement.**


**Responsible for supervising the staff providing the day-to-day support for the account including, training, work processes for effective communication, hiring, counseling, problem resolution, and resolution of payroll, billing, and expense issues. The person in this role is also responsible for developing and improving work processes, delivering and documenting employee training and orientation, development and maintenance of work instructions and technological solutions specific to their programs. This position interacts daily with temporary employees, customer hiring managers, account services staff, Shared Services staff, and other internal and external stakeholders.**




**KellyOCG Job Responsibilities:**

**Require KellyOCG Employees to agree in writing to protect the confidentiality of client proprietary information.**

**Require KellyOCG Employees to acknowledge in writing that they have no right to participate in client employee benefit plans.**


4.

**Require KellyOCG Employees to comply with all rules and policies of the client (e.g., those relating to premises access and security).**


5.

**Draft and Update job descriptions.**


6.

**Complete and oversee the operational support associated with one BPS program including work processes for effective communication, hiring, training, counseling, problem resolution, and resolution of payroll, billing, and expense issues.**

**Weekly approval of the teams hours worked**

**Resolve discrepancies**

**Monthly review of the invoice draft prior to issuance to the client**

**Prepare and deliver presentations and business reviews to customers and internal stakeholders, as agreed upon.**


8.

**Manage and supervise staff, across multiple time zones, to ensure service commitments are met. Coach, counsel, and conduct performance reviews as necessary.**


9.

**Track and measure general and program-specific data and metrics and report to customer, KellyOCG management and internal stakeholders, as necessary.**


10.

**Develop process improvements and work instructions to ensure we are effectively assisting the client, and temporary employees.**


11.

**Participate in scope related projects as assigned.**




**Purpose**

**Scope**

**Making Historical Corrections**

**Process New Hire Records**

**Process Terminations and Badge/User Account Deactivations**

**Issue Replacement Badges**


6.

**Run New Hire Weekly Report**


7.

**Submit Weekly Payroll Data to Suppliers**


8.

**Submit Weekly Payroll Data to Kelly PMO for Invoicing**




**Qualifications**



1.

**Associates degree (preferably in Finance or Supply Chain), or equivalent years of supervisory experience in a related field required. Bachelors degree preferred.**


2.

**2 to 5+ years of customer-facing experience in procurement and/or finance.**


3.

**Previous experience using Kronos v7 & v8**


4.

**Microsoft Office experience with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, V-lookups, macros) required.**


5.

**Must be technically savvy and be willing to learn and master web-based technology systems used in the procurement of goods and services.**


6.

**Excellent communication and customer service skills required to proactively identify and resolve issues.**




Pay rate: $25/hr.
