Kelly Services is currently seeking Pension Specialist with one of our top clients in Denver, CO!



**Position Overview:** As a Pension Specialist, you will be making a valuable difference every day to our high-profile client organizations. In this role you will perform recurring plan administration services and work assignments for clients defined benefit plans with minimal supervision and will assist with project work and other ad hoc client support services as requested.



**Length of Contract:** Contract to Hire position. Usually the team will make a decision on conversion within the first 3-6 months.



**Pay:** 16-17$ per hour



**Schedule:** Monday-Friday during business hours (8am - 5pm).

This position often requires the handling of sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. Develop a strong understanding of the Retirement line of business

Maintain all deadlines and perform work with high accuracy

Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to different people and work assignments

Assist in drafting simple routine administrative procedures and documentation

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including prioritizing work and coordinating several projects at one time

Provide advanced level support in the full Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel

Ensure quality control/proofreading/editing

Seek and participate in key learning and development opportunities/maintain steady progress


Clients

Processes incoming and outgoing mail, coordinate mass mailings and simple word merges

Prepare pension benefit packages in accordance with plan provisions and established procedures

Prepare simple routine benefit calculations using established procedures

Review payment election forms and enter individual payments and trust changes

Perform data entry and process ongoing data change requests

Assists in workflow management by entering requests in the system (or other tracking application) and assigning work to appropriate team members

Gather information for pension calculations

Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment that motivates people to do their best


**The Requirements:**

Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and customer service skills

Strong organizational skills, with proven experience prioritizing work and coordinating several projects at one time

Ability to take full ownership of assigned work

The innate desire to produce high-quality work and earn respect

Flexibility: able to adapt to different people and work assignments

A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work

A learning orientation

Strong interpersonal and project/time management skills

Ability to communicate openly and effectively both verbally and in writing

Strong technical aptitude

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft certification a plus

1-5 years experience in a professional services environment

Experience providing administrative support to multiple parties simultaneously

Bachelors degree a plus
