**Job Description**


Kelly Services is looking for an experienced PLC Maintenance Professional to join our team. The primary function of this position is to maintain, repair or adjust plant machinery and equipment and perform general plant maintenance duties as required. Create and control PLC programming for each equipment.


- Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components.

- Create, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC & HMI programming for all manufacturing equipment.

- Discuss performance issues and improvement ideas with Engineering and maintenance Manager.

- Reads and understands electronic and electrical schematics: draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.

- Understands cameras and vision systems. Can adjust when needed.

- Required to maintain backups of programs from all electrical devices.

- Understands, able to trouble-shoot and repair solid- state motor drives, solid-state temperature controllers and computer-based controllers.

- Must be able to check newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

- Perform electrical, mechanical, preventive and other maintenance activities.

- Recommends changes in circuitry of installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

- Perform routine inspections on manufacturing machines.

- Maintain equipment as required by the Preventive Maintenance Program.


**Requirements**


- Education equivalent to a high school education. Associates Degree in PLC programing or equivalent, preferred. Minimum of five years of Allen Bradley PLC programming, Robotic/Automation, and maintenance experience in lieu of education.

- Extensive knowledge of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Automation.

- Knowledge and ability to perform the typical activities of maintenance to include electrical and mechanical.

- Understanding of SPC.

- Able to read and understand plant layouts and PC cards.

- Able to use all of the tools associated with maintenance activities.

- Versatile and willing to learn new tasks.

- High degree of self-motivation and independent decision-making.
