Power Electronics Test Engineer

As the Power Electronics Test Engineer in powertrain department, youll be working with some of the industrys brightest minds to ensure a successful product launch.


**Responsibilities:**


Collaborate with Power electronics team and charging team to perform full scope of engineering testing activities to support the design release

Responsible for all the power electronics high voltage and low voltage testing

Identify the lab testing needs, draft test plan, and execute the testing with test report

Ensure the testing to be done accurately and timely

Work with lab technician to set up all the testing including HV and LV testing, with coolant and without coolant

Process preliminary data analysis, confirm the testing methodology and ensure high quality testing results before submission

Provide lab safety talks, encourage developers, technicians, to follow the safe testing practice within HV laboratory

Responsible for tester debugging including power electronics bench tester, validation test stand, dynamometer, etc

Ensure all the testing equipment are up to date with calibration, and maintain all the consumable test equipment in stock

Flexible to support all kinds of urgent testing tasks from PCBA board level up to subsystem level


**Basic Qualifications:**


Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field

2 years of experience in powertrain power electronics testing

Familiar with LabView and TestStand

Experience in HV electrical testing

Proven knowledge + expertise, and passion for power electronics and High voltage testing

Top-notch technical, communication and analytical abilities

Strong familiarity with power electronics hardware architecture and high voltage component operating principle in automotive industrial

Familiar with all kinds of testing software and equipment such as LabView, digital signal generator, Oscilloscopes, Data acquisition box, etc

Preferred Qualifications:


Proven expertise with managing project for timely, logical and concise work products

NI licensed software developer

A diverse skillset including electrical board design, software development life cycles

A wide range of experience with CAN networks, LIN networks, Ethernet networks

A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision

Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies

A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting

A genuine fascination for the Electric Mobility field and a commitment to global change

A true sense of determination and hopefully a sense of humor
