Description **Pre-Weigh Technician/Mixer**
**Strat $15.25 progress to $16.50 after 3 months if qualified.**

Our client a leader in the chemical industry located in Hillsdale, MI has current openings for Pre Weigh technicians which can lead to machine operator positions.

The Pre-Weigh Technician will accurately measure or weigh powdered raw materials and place on a skid. Must be able to read and understand the plant production schedule and also keep accurate count of inventory.

**The Pre-Weigh Technician starts at $15.25 hour and after 3 months of training can progress to a machine operator at the rate of $16.50 hour.**

The Pre-Weigh Technician should be available to progress to a Mixer Operator role. The Mixer Operator performs operations and related activities per task instructions to produce adhesives. Places raw ingredients liquids and powders into the mixer and monitors the process conditions, equipment and control systems for each batch. Uses trouble shooting skills to resolve process related deviations or problems. Also performs minor repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance of equipment. Manually changes filtration equipment and prepares packaging and downloads completed material for shipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• HS diploma or GED
• Dust mask required while handling powder ingredients.
• Forklift operation required. Prior experience is a plus.
• Positions are currently on the 1st or 3rd shifts however you need to be available to work all shifts if required.

**7:00 am – 3:00 pm,**
**11:00 pm – 7:00 am**

**Preference to shift will be considered depending on current openings but must be able to work any shift if required.**
