**Paint Supervisor - Mt. Washington. Kentucky**

Leads and controls senior, junior employees engaged in all activities related to production processes. Ensures efficient and timely completion of jobs, ensuring a quality product is shipped on time. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of employees in paint department. Maintain production schedules and quality of work to a limited extent. Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisition, equipment, and supplies for section. Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, upgrading, and transfer. Review and compile operations records, such as yield, scrap, and maintenance costs.


Provides powder coating expertise in the development of specific procedures or requirements Ensures all safety requirements for all processes are being followed Ensures that all work is carried out to the required quality in the best possible manner and within the guidelines of SRS. Motivate, direct, align and guide the paint team for best performance Identify training requirements for subordinates and provide suitable training and guidance Ability to solve problems and make effective decision in a fast pace environment Ability to simultaneously perform multiple task Conducts daily maintenance on powder line Conduct daily inventory on department supplies Controls man hours including indirect hours, overtimes and days off to workers. Allocates man-hours vs. job #s Meets all production requirements by pre-planning and follow up on all jobs having work ready for next shift Provides continuous improvement while utilizing our 5S procedures and following process


4 years experience in supervising powder coat production Should have knowledge of materials identifications and the ability to manage production time Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes Knowledge of Gema powder system is a + Computer literacy Ability to create accountability and to lead by example Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

REQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED Must be able to lift to 50 lbs
