JOB SUMMARY: As a Principal Biostatistician you will be the face of StatCollab for those clients assigned to you. The Principal Biostatistician independently performs tasks related both to statistical analyses and statistical programming and will work independently on multiple projects.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

       M.S. or equivalent degree in statistics, or related field; PhD preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

       At least seven (7) years of post-masters experience in clinical trials

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Responsibilities may include:

• Prepare statements of work, proposals, and budgets.
• Program complex datasets.
• Lead sophisticated analyses, including simulations as appropriate.
• Present results to DMCs.
• Serve as primary contact on a project.
• Write memos and reports.
• Mentor junior employees.
• Remain abreast of current advances in biostatistics and software developments that may be required for StatCollab to meet its contractual obligations both effectively and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
