Description The title of the position is a Process Automation Manufacturing Execution Systems (PA-MES) Training Coordinator / Content Technologist. Preferably located in the Freeport, Texas area (optionally the greater Houston area). The need is for an experienced person with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise learning program coordination. The candidate will have three main areas of responsibility.

+ Coordination of global virtual and face-to-face Process Automation training events. This task includes demand planning for the setup and tracking of scheduled offerings in Dow’s learning management system, communications to students, instructor assignments, location coordination, and training materials reproduction arrangements.
+ Coordination of succession planning for the Process Automation instructors located at the various Dow sites around the world, following the Process Automation train-the-trainer work process.
+ Coordination of new training content development and improvements to existing courses. In this task, the candidate will work with Process Automation global technical subject matter experts who are course owners to ensure the courses in Client’s MES automation training program remain relevant and applicable to the technology implemented within the Client.
Desirable attributes of candidates include experience in technical educational management and curriculum development; excellent communication skills in interpersonal, computer-facilitated, and telephone-facilitated settings; and a high level of proficiency in use of standard workstation tools. Preferred candidates will also have a basic understanding of the application of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in chemical manufacturing facilities.
