Description **PROCESS CONTROLS TECHNICIAN – Pipersville, PA**

Our client in the Pipersville, PA area, a provider of field service & supplies for process controls, instrumentation, and feed systems for wastewater treatment facilities, has a need for a Process Controls Technician. In this role, this individual would be responsible for providing field service & commissioning duties at customer sites throughout the Northeast, namely in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This is an hourly, full time, non-exempt opportunity, working directly for our client. Qualified and interested candidates are invited to apply today!

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Install & troubleshoot Industrial instrumentation
+ Install & troubleshoot process control systems & control panels
+ **Program & troubleshoot PLC** s (namely Allen Bradley), HMIs, and VFDs
+ Interface with customers regarding their equipment issues
+ Travel to customer sites across the Northeast Territory, largely PA & NJ
+ Other duties as assigned
**REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**


+ **Technical / Vocational school degree** in an **Electrical Engineering Technology** or a related Electrical discipline
+ **5-10 years** of experience working with:

+ Installation & Troubleshooting of **Industrial instrumentation** , **process control systems** , **control panels**

+ **Programming** and troubleshooting of **PLC** s & **HMI** s ( **Allen Bradley** preferred)

+ **Programming** and troubleshooting of **VFD** s
+ Strong customer interfacing skills; effective communicator, personable, attentive
+ Good written skills (report preparation)
+ Familiar use of a PC, including MS-Office, Word, Excel
+ **Must be willing to travel on a regular basis** (regional travel by car in PA, NJ, and sometimes surrounding states; mostly day trips and office, with occasional 2-3 night stays)
+ Must have your own personal hand tools (Specialty tools provided)
