**Process Equipment Reliability Technician**

Kelly Services is hiring a Process Equipment Reliability Technician to work on-site at one of our top customers in food/snack manufacturing and distribution in Fair Lawn, NJ. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with perks including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off and performance reviews.

**Starting pay rate is $32/hour, depending on skills and experience, and the schedule is Monday Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm.**

This position is primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing confectionary process machinery and equipment.


+ Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.

+ Listens for unusual sounds from machines/equipment to detect malfunction.

+ Discusses machine operation variations with process equipment or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machinery.

+ Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.

+ Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

+ Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, PLC and VFD, instrumentation and controls, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

+ Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

+ Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.

+ Must be able to service HVAC systems and Chillers, knowledge of boilers and boiler seal a plus.

+ Comprehends technical literature (i.e. equipment and operating manuals), safety literature (i.e. lockout/tagout procedures, safety bulletins, MSDS sheets), and plant policy manuals.

+ Understands production processes and operation of machinery for troubleshooting purposes, conduct Root Cause Analysis to understand failures.

+ Ability to manage CMMS systems. Develop and load PM of equipment.

+ Spare parts management.

+ Assist in developing autonomous maintenance program.

+ Knowledge of predictive maintenance practices desired. Ie: oil analysis, ultrasonic and infrared, vibration analysis.


+ Broad technical training (high school plus 1 to 3 years apprenticeship/applied trades training).

+ Training requires a basic knowledge in the use of shop mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and various types of precision measuring instruments.

+ A minimum of 3 years work-related experience is required.

+ An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable.
