**Job Description**


Provides specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations and maintenance. Understands and implements Most Effective Technology (MET), work process, tools and industry best practices within the PCE discipline. Support requirements will include a combination of capital, expense and plant support projects, GMISS (Global Mechanical Integrity Safety Standard) and Repair & Alteration (R&A) work. The candidate will apply leadership skills with technical knowledge in the design, procurement and assessment of process containment equipment. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, techniques and methodology within the analytical technology discipline.


**Responsibilities / Duties**


In the inspector and engineer capacity:


1. Apply applicable design criteria, design tools, best practices, and established work processes when creating the documentation required for the selection, purchase, and installation of process containment equipment.


2. Consult and provide engineering solutions for plant support needs, including internal registrations, repairs and alterations of in service process containment equipment. Evaluate process containment equipment registration files and inspection reports and provide recommendations.


3. Design and prepare procurement/inquiry documentation in support of capital and expense projects.


4. Work with engineers, designers, crafts, NDE technicians and plant personnel to support the assigned process containment equipment engineering needs.


5. Work independently with little to no supervision to meet customer time constraints and commitments.


6. Delegate work to outside engineering resources to ensure customer expectations are met in a timely manner.


7. Prioritize work to keep plants operating safely with minimal downtime.


In the project lead capacity:


+ Serves as the leader of the project within their discipline. Has accountability for project results and for the implementation of and adherence to all relevant work processes and best practices.

+ Drives front end loading to ensure clear scope definition along with establishing plans and schedules to enable adequate control during execution.

+ Directs activities within their discipline and coordinates activities with other disciplines.
