Process Quality Engineer

**Purpose of the role:**

+ Helps drive customer satisfaction by owning and supporting groups activities.

+ Owns some general customer requests and drives them to closure.

+ Utilizes plant resources to execute trials and testing.

+ Works with other members of the team in resolving customer complaints.

+ Leads projects in the group.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ QC(Quality Control) testing capability and operations experience.

+ Works within a QC testing type environment.

+ Provides support in document control / procedure use culture. Helps review product specifications from customers.

+ Understands SPC (Statistical Process Control). Drafts customer reports on OOC (out of control) points and quarterly data reports.

+ Helps in customer complaint investigations with different activities (containment, root cause hypothesis testing, corrective action implementation).

+ Utilizes computer based tools to help with containment actions (tracing and blocking material).

+ Utilizes (Excel / JMP / Minitab etc.) to provide support for data mining and / or data analysis.

+ Co-ordinates with manufacturing to run trials / testing in production environment in a safe and effective manner.

+ Helps track teams KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) (blocked inventory, complaint backlog, etc.) by running reports.

+ Leads projects in the group.

+ Understands the site safety policy and works in accordance while delivering groups needs.

+ Role may have broad context to all the activities in the PQE (Product Quality Engineering) area. If selected, training and coaching will be provided to fill any gaps in skills.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Associate or higher degree.

+ 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred

+ Experience in Data Analysis, utilizing Data Mining tools

+ Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.

+ Strong analytical, written, verbal communication skills. Able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and have strong reading comprehension and listening skills.

+ Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving, effective troubleshooting skillset and time management skills.
