**Title:** Procurement Manager

**Duration:** 3+ months, temp-hire!

**Location:** Center Valley PA (will work a combination of on-site and remote)

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Responsible for category planning, sourcing and supplier management in IT/Telecom area.

+ Demonstrates a total cost of ownership (TCO) savings mindset by developing and supporting long term category strategies with the Global IT/Telecom category Director.

+ Ensures implementation of category management - end to end sourcing category ownership by procurement (from demand specification, via development of TCO, Request for Information/Proposal/Quote processes through implementation plan and TCO savings monitoring)

+ Lead the development and execution of regional category sourcing strategies activities in respective spend area.

+ Facilitate the negotiation and contract review process, ensuring that appropriate solution and privacy review stakeholders are included.

+ Develop and manage relationships with internal clients and strategic suppliers.

+ Work closely with both stakeholder groups to ensure efficient cross- functional collaboration.

+ Support Global Procurement Center in the review and analysis of contract performance and spend in the IT/Telecom category.

+ Monitor and conduct review and analysis of contract performance and spending for categories.

+ Engage suppliers in addressing and correcting contract performance deficiencies.

+ Support business purchasers in proactive work with internal clients to identify, forecast and optimize demand and standardize specifications to reduce TCO.

+ Ensure that procurement services are provided according to procurement plan and within budgets, timescales and standards.

+ Plan project activities, prepare timelines and roadmaps.

+ Coordinate project activities, collaborate with project team members.

+ Prepare project deliverables within area of responsibility.

+ Monitor status of project and report to project stakeholders.

+ Manage category project budgets, preparing cost-to-completion projections, if needed calculate business case.

+ Organize meetings and workshops, prepare agendas, document key decisions, write meeting minutes.

+ Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork; support/lead efforts to increase employee engagement.

+ Ensure meeting of high ethical standards related to strategic sourcing process.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.


+ Experience in leading sourcing team is a plus and in motivating and building bridges between stakeholders is essential.

+ Strong acumen of the IT industry in order to support global initiatives

+ Advanced ability on Microsoft Office suite of software is necessary.

+ Familiarity with procurement systems such as, but not limited to SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.

+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.

+ Must have demonstrated ability to deliver sourcing results in complex change management environment.

+ Must have a strong TCO mindset and have advanced skills in sourcing planning and negotiations.

**Education / Experience:**

+ Bachelors degree in business or engineering is required; Masters degree is preferred.

+ Preferred 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least two years experience in IT/Telecom procurement is required.
